ABOUT
This video was inspired by my love for the band Evergreen, and my interpretation of the lyrics in their song Gemini. All images, textures, and videos were shot by me!

Storyboarding
Before jumping into shooting and animating, I made a rough storyboard to guide the story beats in the video. I didn't end up following the storyboard entirely, but it provided a good foundation for my vision.
Hunting for textures
I knew I wanted a scrapbook-y stop motion look with lots of paper texture, so I decided to look for these textures and letters in my daily life.
Shooting with a green screen!
Many hours were spent filming in a green screen room facing the Black Magic pocket on a tripod. I then processed the green screen footage through Nuke for a clean key.

The animation and editing was done in After Effects, where I combined the textures and images I had collected with my green screen footage.
